1. Creative use of Digital Technology in Educational Process.
Educational, teaching and learning process in modern society has been significally influenced by the involvement of the innovative digital technologies work methods into the process. Mentioned above encourages curiosity, motivation, and creativity by the educators as well as by the learners, therefore is very appropriate to include them into the educational process from kindergarten to the top of the educational vertical.
At the conference we seek for the opportunities for exchange and recognition of the good examples in pedagogical process enabled by the creative uses of technologies. We are looking for the most unusual examples of the ICT and digital tool use. We are encouraging creative use of various applications, tools and new learning platforms, used not only in pedagogical process, but also in everyday life – from huge choice of easy useful applications, towards the ones appropriate for more demanding users, like VR tools, augmented reality, artificial intelligence, etc. We would like to learn about special knowledges and skills, which you are equipped with, after last year circumstances, as well as we wish to tackle the topic of digital (distance) learning and privacy, personal data control, safety issues that are mandatory in virtual world.
Creativity is a goal, technology is a mean.
2. Me as…
… educator, teacher, lecturer and mentor. As an inspiration, example, leader. As teacher, listener and catalyst. Me – as seen by the learners. Can you find yourself in that? Educational goals can be effectively achieved by the use of the traditional and approved approaches to learning. Nevertheless, the added value of individual teacher, educator and lecturer is expressed by its originality, personalized, unusual techniques and approaches, especially in its difference and sensitivity for the learners’ needs.
With this aim we give the attendees the opportunity to tell and exchange the examples of original methods and forms of work, as well as innovative teaching approaches. We are interested in versatile examples of problem solving, various motivation techniques, classroom management and classroom leading, examples of the local and broader environment cooperation, cooperation in the field of economy, etc. We also seek for the self – initiative of the educators, teachers and lecturers in these procedures. We are looking the unique forms and good examples of the assessment procedures, (self)reflection and (self)motivation. The overall connection to this topic is the special ability, knowledge and skills that are necessary for successful and good teacher or lecturer.
Teacher, educator, lecturer is not only an expert, but also an artist, observer and most of all – human.
3. Sustainability in educational process
Sustainability of our planet or environments we live in, actually pretty much relies on us. It is a matter of how we see the world and our spot within it. It cannot be achieved overnight, but it really begins by small everyday steps, where education plays incredibly important role.
In the frame of the third aim we encourage the participants to think and work in all three sustainability aspects: environmental (waste and emission management, energy saving, ecology, climate changes, etc.), societal (critical thinking, an effort towards well-being, active and global nationality, inclusion of the vulnerable groups, equal opportunities, social responsibility, etc.) and economic (green mobility and green jobs, health at work, entrepreneurship, etc.). We are interested in ideas and suggestions of how to incorporate all three aspects of sustainability into the educational process, how to encourage the learning ones into sustainable behavior as well as how the teacher’s, educator’s or lecturer’s sustainable acting influences the learners, co-workers, institution and broader community.
